Kaiju Kitchen privacy policy
Last updated: November 6, 2026
The short version
- Kaiju Kitchen has no accounts. Your progress is saved only on your device.
- The game shows ads. Our ad partners, Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads, collect some device data to show and measure ads.
- You can turn personalized ads off at any time. You can also email us with any question.
Who we are
Kaiju Kitchen is made by Raycast Games, a one-person game studio. In this policy "we" and "us" mean Raycast Games. If you have a question about your data, email [email protected].
What the game stores on your device
The game saves your progress on your phone: coins, unlocked kitchen areas, upgrades, recipes, kaiju progress, quests and settings like sound and vibration. This data stays on your device. We don't run our own servers, we don't have player accounts, and we never receive your save data. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
Advertising
Kaiju Kitchen is free and shows ads. Some ads are optional rewarded videos you choose to watch, and some appear between kaijus. Ads are delivered by these partners:
- Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource), which chooses which ad network shows each ad
- Unity Ads, an ad network
To show ads, prevent fraud and measure how ads perform, these partners collect and process data from your device:
| Data | What it's used for |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iPhone if you allow tracking) | Showing and measuring ads, limiting how often you see the same ad, and personalizing ads if you allow it |
| IP address and approximate location derived from it | Choosing ads for your region, fraud prevention |
| Device information such as model, operating system, language and network type | Showing ads that work on your device, analytics |
| Ad interactions, such as ads shown, watched and tapped | Ad measurement and reporting |
| Crash and diagnostic data from the ad SDKs | Keeping ads working reliably |
This data is collected and processed by Unity under its own privacy policy: Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. We don't sell your data, and we don't collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
Your choices
- EU, EEA and UK players: the game asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change this any time in the game's Settings with the "Personalized ads" switch. Without consent you still get ads, but they aren't personalized.
- iPhone: the game asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your IDFA isn't shared. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path depends on your phone).
- California and other US states: to opt out of personalized advertising, use the device settings above or contact us.
Children
Kaiju Kitchen is made for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the game, email us and we'll help you contact our ad partners to have it removed.
Keeping and deleting data
We don't hold any of your data ourselves. Your save data is deleted when you uninstall the game. For data held by Unity, you can make access or deletion requests through Unity's privacy policy linked above, or email us and we'll help.
Security
Data sent by our ad partners is encrypted in transit.
Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects your data, for example a new ad partner, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
